At least 63 people were killed on Tuesday in heavy weapon attacks conducted across Syria by regime forces, activists said.
Assad forces killed 22 in the suburbs of Damascus, 10 in Deir ez-Zor and Aleppo each, 9 in Daraa'a, 6 in Suveida, 2 in Idlib and Hama each, 1 in Homs and Quneitra each, according to the London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.
A large number of civilians were also wounded while many houses were destroyed in the attacks.
Meanwhile, many armed groups were neutralized during the regime's operations across the country, Syria's state news agency (SANA) said.
