25 journalists complete Anadolu's 30th War Correspondent Training Program

Twenty-five journalists completed the 30th War Correspondent Training Program, jointly organized by Anadolu, the Turkish Police Academy and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), on Friday.

The two-week program brought together nine Anadolu journalists and 16 journalists from Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, preparing participants to work in conflict zones, disaster areas and other emergencies.

Participants received theoretical and practical training in areas including international humanitarian law, personal security, advanced driving and water survival.

Speaking at the certificate ceremony, officials stressed the importance of preparing journalists for the risks they may encounter while reporting from conflict zones.

They emphasized that no story is more important than a journalist's life.

The program also aims to strengthen professional cooperation and facilitate the exchange of experience among journalists from different countries.
