Deputy Director General of Anadolu Agency (AA) Cagatay Culcuoglu was in Dubai on February 25 for an analysis and cooperation meeting with Emirati data provider DirectFN Ltd, within the scope of AA's Finance Terminal project.
Having drawn attention to the Turkish news agency's impressive growth in Middle East, Culcuoglu, talking to an AA correspondent, expressed his happiness at the potential chance to work with DirectFN.
Culcuoglu said that AA's Finance Terminal would increase its market share thanks to the data and news received from Middle East and global finance centers.
Culcuoglu stated that they would like to increase their market share in Turkey by receiving global scaled data from both Turkey and Middle Eastern countries and at the same time they would upgrade the technological infrastructure of the AA Finance Terminal on online platforms.
He added that AA, who has the most efficient Arabic service in Middle East, aims to be the biggest and the most efficient agency in Africa and Eastern Europe as of April 6, when the Agency plan to begin publishing news in French as well.
DirectFN Director Manjula Jayasinghe underlined that a possible partnership with Anadolu Agency would add prestige to their firm and added that they also believe in the market share of Anadolu Agency and that by partnering with the Emirati firm's technological capacity, both sides could gain unique benefits.
