ANKARA
European stock markets closed mostly higher on Thursday as investors digested fresh corporate earnings.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 1.5 points, or 0.32%, to finish at 461.6 points.
London's FTSE 100 leveled out at 7,629, while Germany's DAX 30 gained 140.4 points, or 0.98%, to end the day at 14,502.
France's CAC 40 performed the best, soaring 90.2 points, or 1.36%, to close at 6,715.
Spain's IBEX 35 gained 45 points, or 0.51%, to end the day at 8,815.
On the other hand, Italy's FTSE MIB decreased 72.6 points, or 0.29%, to 24,805.
