Confidence indices for services, retail trade and construction sectors decreased in July, 2012.
According to figures of TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, confidence indices for services, retail trade and construction sectors decreased 0.4 percent, 0.8 percent and 3.7 percent respectively when compared to June, 2012.
The confidence index, which was 114.4 for services, 110.2 for retail trade and 93.3 for construction in June 2012, and became 113.9, 109.3 and 89.9 respectively in July 2012.
Sectoral confidence indices can take value between 0 and 200. It indicates an optimistic outlook when the index is above 100, but it indicates a pessimistic outlook when it is below 100.
