Turkish and Greek governments have agreed on Saturday to boost biletaral relations and cooperation.
The joint statement comes hours after the third meeting of the Turkey-Greece High Level Cooperation Council, which was attended by Turkish Premier Ahmet Davutoglu and his Greek counterpart Antonis Samaras in the Greek capital of Athens.
Earlier, the two prime ministers had argued that the economic and business cooperation was a necessary element for good transnational relations.
"The two countries have agreed to take necessary measures to boost economic and trade cooperation in line with the (current) increase in mutual trade volume and economic collaboration," said the statement.
The two governments also aim to improve bilateral and regional cooperation on energy, especially natural gas pipelines and electricity interconnection networks, according to the statement.
The statement touched on cooperation on tourism and said the countries had to develop joint projects to target overseas markets to boost tourism.
"The two countries also welcome results of the Turkish-Greek Project (April 1-October 31 of 2014) that aimed to ease short-term tourist visits from Turkish coastal regions to Greek islands in the Agean Sea," it added.
The two counries reiterated their resolution to enhance collaboration against the terrorism threat from Syria and Iraq and to provide regional stability.
