Turkey: Treasury reports $232 billion debt stock

ANKARA

Turkey's central government debt stock stood at 676.2 billion Turkish liras ($232.4 billion) at the end of November, the Turkish Treasury announced Monday.

Most of the debt -- 439.5 billion liras ($151 billion) -- was in Turkish currency and 236.8 billion liras ($81.3 billion) was in foreign currency.

The central government debt stock stood at 677.6 billion Turkish liras ($239.9 billion) at the end of October.
