Zuhal Mansfield, Vice President of Turkish-Egyptian Business Council of Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK), said that African countries were very important in Turkey's foreign trade.
Turkey's foreign trade with Egypt exceeded five billion USD in 2012, Mansfield told AA on Wednesday.
Noting that exports to Egypt increased, Mansfield said that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan set five billion USD as foreign trade target with Egypt, however, this figure was exceeded in 2012.
Mansfield said that Africa was a very large geography which was comprised of 54 countries, adding that those, who wanted to invest in Africa, should make evaluations country by country.
