ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish prefabricated building manufacturer Karmod said Friday it is developing custom security booths tailored for educational institutions, amid growing demand for guard structures that combine functionality with modern design and corporate identity.
The company said it is seeing rising interest in higher-end security cabins, particularly from private schools and universities seeking structures that align with campus architecture and institutional branding.
“Corporate development in Türkiye has raised expectations even for products once seen as minor details,” Zekai Kucuk, general manager of Karmod Kabin, said in a statement.
“That shift has also been reflected in security structures. The new preference is for aesthetically strong, modern and premium designs,” he added.
Kucuk said Karmod continues to expand its range of security booths for different use cases, focusing on visually distinctive models for clients seeking units that complement their overall brand image.
The company noted that its luxury precast cabin model has drawn particular interest in the education sector, with installations at private high schools and universities, as well as at embassies, villa compounds and administrative buildings.
Most recently, Kucuk said, the company completed a project for a private university campus in Istanbul’s Besiktas district, delivering four precast security booths measuring 150 by 270 centimeters and two units measuring 140 by 140 centimeters.
