Türkiye's BIST 100 up 1.3% at close

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended the week at 11,482.60 points on Friday, up by 1.32%.

After starting the day at 11,237.83 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 149.33 points from Thursday's close.

The lowest value of the index was 10,707.18, while the daily high was 11,500.78.

The market value of the BIST 100 was around 11.3 trillion Turkish liras ($226.7 billion), with a trading volume of 135 billion liras ($2.69 billion).

A total of 73 stocks on the index rose and 25 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $4,047.8 per ounce, and Brent crude futures traded at $97 as of 1540GMT.

While the US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 50.1580, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 55.9740, and the British pound traded at 67.1020.
