Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense announced Tuesday that the danger had passed in the country’s Eastern Province, minutes after issuing an emergency warning.
The authority issued the all-clear through the national emergency early warning platform after an earlier alert warned of “potential danger.”
The notice did not specify the nature of the danger or the specific areas covered by the warning.
Earlier Tuesday, Yemen’s Houthi group threatened to target Saudi state oil company Aramco’s headquarters in Dammam, the main airport in the capital Riyadh, and Aramco’s Riyadh refinery in response to any attack by the Saudi-led coalition on its sites in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
Saudi Arabia has faced a series of attacks on airports and civilian facilities in recent days amid an escalating military confrontation with the Houthis.
