DAMASCUS (AA) - A total of 130 people were killed on Sunday in operations Assad forces staged in several cities of Syria.
Syrian Local Coordination Committee (LCC) officials stated that at least 18 people were killed when a warplane bombed two villages in Qamishli town of Syria on Sunday.
Moreover, Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, Assad forces killed 38 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 18 each in el-Haseqqeh and Aleppo, 14 in Idlib, 10 in Homs, 8 in Dera'a, 4 in Raqqah and one each in Deir al-Zor and Quneitra, so in total of 112 people died at air and land operations.
It was added, due to heavy use of howitzer and rockets of the Syrian army, many houses were destroyed, some caught on fire and that locals started to flee the area.
LCC noted, due to military operations, residents were struggling with finding food.
Syrian national news agency SANA also announced that regime forces took many armed groups under control.
