CAIRO
Four cabinet members in the Egyptian government resigned Monday in protest of authorities’ lack of response to the demands of President Mohammad Morsi’s opponents.
Sources said the ministers of environmental affairs, communications, tourism and legal and parliamentary affairs have tendered their resignations to Prime Minister Hisham Qandil.
Hundreds of thousands of protestors taken to the streets on Sunday to call for Morsi’s resignation and snap presidential elections.
