Turkish security forces captured 37 illegal migrants in two separate operations on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, 23 illegal migrants from Syria were captured in Datca district of Turkey's south-western province of Mugla. It was noted, illegal migrants were captured while staying in woods which was 30 km away from the city center. It was added that 23 Syrian origin migrants including 4 women and 9 children were planning to go to Greek island of Symi.
In another operation held by Turkish security forces, 14 illegal migrants and two others who claimed to have organized the migrant smuggling were captured.
Security officials stated, 14 migrants were hiding at a factory in Ayvalik seaside town on the northwestern Aegean coast of Turkey's Balikesir province on Monday.
It was noted that Turkish security forces realized some activation in the backyard of an olive oil factory during their ordinary patrolling in the area. After their controls in the factory, they captured 14 immigrants and two other people who were claimed to be the organizers of migrant smuggling.
All captured illegal migrants will be deported following official procedures.
