At least 61 people were killed on Friday in attacks staged by the Syrian regime in several cities across Syria, activists said.
Assad forces killed 15 in Daraa'a, 10 each in the suburbs of Damascus and Al Hasakah, 8 in Aleppo, 6 in Deir ez-Zor, 5 in Hama, 4 in Idlib, 2 in Homs, and 1 in Quneitra according to the London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.
Among those 14 were children, while a large number of civilians were also wounded in the attacks.
Meanwhile, the Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) stated that the Free Syrian Army (FSA) seized more than 250 tanks in al-Nasiriyah.
