ANKARA
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Monday will meet the Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu over the bomb attack perpetrated by PKK terrorists, which killed and wounded several soldiers in the southeastern province of Hakkari on Sunday.
Kilicdaroglu on Monday asked for an appointment from Davutoglu, who accepted the call, according to the Prime Ministry sources.
The meeting was to take place at the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday.
The attack took place in the town of Daglica in the Yuksekova district Sunday evening, as two armed army vehicles were crossing. Security sources said there were several wounded and martyred soldiers.
Releasing a statement early Monday, the Turkish General Staff said that during an operation launched after the attack, 13 PKK targets were bombed by two F-16 and two F-14 aircraft.
The statement said two armored vehicles of the general staff had been damaged.
