Lille forward Burak Yilmaz contracts COVID-19

Lille's Turkish forward Burak Yilmaz said on Friday that he tested positive for coronavirus.

Yilmaz, 36, made the announcement regarding his positive COVID-19 test result on Instagram.

In 2020, he signed for Lille, which won the French Ligue 1 title the past season.

This season he tallied six goals and five assists in 23 appearances.

Yilmaz is also a member of the Turkish national squad.

He previously played for Turkiye's Big Four, Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor.
