At least two Turkish soldiers were martyred in the southeastern Sirnak province by improvised explosive devices planted by PKK terrorists, the Turkish Chief of General Staff said in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement said three soldiers were also wounded as a result of the blast.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- waged a terror campaign against Turkey for more than 30 years and has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people.
