79 trucks carrying aid materials left for Syria on Wednesday within the scope of "Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign.
A statement said that 25 trucks from central province of Konya, 12 trucks from northwestern province of Bursa, six from northwestern Sakarya province, one from southern province of Antalya, six from central Kayseri province, four from Ankara, three trucks from southeastern province of Gaziantep, two from northwestern province of Zonguldak, two from central Corum province, five trucks from eastern province of Van, two from Izmir, two trucks from northwestern province of Izmit, seven from Duzce, one from Yalova and one from Balikesir left for Syria.
Trucks are carrying flour, canned food, dried food, blanket, cleaning materials, clothing and shoes.
"Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign was launched last December in Turkey by a group of Turkish civil society organizations and it quickly received nation-wide support.
International leg of the "Bread&Blanket for Syria" campaign was launched last week.
The campaign has received the support of charity organizations from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Malaysia, Pakistan, Britain, Macedonia, Kuwait, Morocco, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bahrain, Algeria and Belgium.
