SARAJEVO
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc broadcast the first news story in Bosnian from Anadolu Agency's (AA) News Transmission System (HAS) on Thursday.
The HAS system in Bosnian came into effect within scope of the Agency's centennial vision.
AA's Regional Office in the Balkans which broadcast news in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian (BHS) was launched on March 11, 2012 in Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina.
The HAS will broadcast news in Turkish and Arabic languages too.
Within the scope of Arinc's visit, Chairman of the Board and Director General of Anadolu Agency Kemal Ozturk signed protocol with the representatives of the media organs in the region as AA was providing free of charge broadcast to newspapers, tv channels and radios since its inauguration.
After the one year long intense works of AA's team, the HAS now provides great convenience to its subscribers.
AA subscribers can receive photos, videos and news via the same system. HAS, also providing convenience to the correspondents, allows fast access to news, photos and videos by the subscribers.
The new system unites correspondents speaking different languages around the world with its multilingual interface including Turkish, Arabic, Bosnian and English and allows to make news regardless of the operating system.
With the new system in effect, news will be presented to AA subscribers via the internet and satellite. AA news will be accessible instantly via the system allowing broadcasting at international standards.
The news system also integrated with social media is a successful example serving new generation journalism. With HAS coming into effect one of the infrastructural reforms making up a significant part of AA's restructuring process will be complete.
