A suspect linked to last October’s bomb attack in Ankara that killed 103 people has been remanded in custody, the Ankara Chief Prosecutor's Office said on Thursday.
The suspect, who was detained in the southeastern Gaziantep province on Wednesday in connection with the deadly twin bombings in Turkey's capital, appeared in an Ankara court on Thursday to give testimony to public prosecutors.
The suspect – identified only by the initials H.T – was accused of "being a member of the Daesh terrorist organization".
With today’s development, the number of remanded suspects linked to the bombings near Ankara's main train station rose to five.
