74-year old grandma Fadime collected the poems she wrote in the past ten years in her poetry book "Yarali Gonul" (Broken Heart).
Fadime Kilic, mother of five and drop-out from grade 3, said that she was interested in writing poems since her childhood but had the opportunity to write only after her children got married.
"I gathered the poems with the support of my children. I wanted my poems to come to light. I thought maybe someone would read and take lessons from it. Religious topics dominate it" said Kilic.
Mentioning that she was receiving complaisance from the readers, Kilic said that she was getting positive feedback from young to old, all readers.
