ANKARA
Turkish Justice Ministry allowed on Thursday a delegation from Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) to visit Abdullah Ocalan, jailed head of PKK terrorist organization, on Imrali island within the scope of peace talks.
The ministry assessed the application of BDP, which had been presented on Wednesday, and sent it back to the party after approving it.
BDP deputies Sirri Surreya Onder, Altan Tan and Pervin Buldan are expected to go to Imrali on February 23.
Buldan told AA that Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin called her and informed her about the approval of the ministry, adding that the delegation would depart from Istanbul for Imrali early on Saturday.
