HATAY, Turkey
Two mortar shells have landed in Turkey’s southern province of Hatay, security sources said on Monday.
Speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, the security sources said that the two shells fell in the Topraktutan district of Hatay.
No casualties were reported.
Under Turkey's rules of engagement, the military responded immediately by shelling targets across the nearby Syrian border.
