ISTANBUL (AA) - June 4, 2012 - The "Syrian Revolutionists Front", made up of members of the Syrian opposition, was introduced in a press conference held in Istanbul on Monday.
Speaking at the press conference, an opposition activist Mustafa Falih et-Tai said that they established a new entity to bring together many Islamic factions and many tribes.
We announce the formation of the front here. We are on every Syrian street and it is our aim to bring together the Syrian revolution, et-Tai said.
We are in Turkey as this is our home. We can topple the Assad regime if we get united. We are thankful to Turkey for its support, et-Tai stressed.
Reading out the foundation declaration for the front, Halid Uklava said that their aim was to reach justice and equality.
We want friendly nations and the free world to be on the side of the Syrian revolution, Uklava underlined.
