GAZIANTEP, Turkey
Thirty-two people were remanded in custody on Thursday in Turkey’s southeastern province Gaziantep in relation to a car bomb attack, which martyred two police officers on Sunday.
According to a police source who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the restrictions on speaking to the media, a total of 52 people were arrested during a series of operations in Gaziantep following the attack.
Thirty-two were remanded in custody while 20 others were released, 19 of which under judicial control.
