Turkey condemned the suicide bombing in Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Monday.
In a written statement released Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said that the suicide bombing in Baghdad that targeted a Shiite endowment on Monday and that killed 18 people and wounded around 50 others was learned with "deep sadness".
Turkey strongly condemns Monday's terror incident in Baghdad that targeted the tranquility and stability of the country in a sensitive period and wishes God's mercy to those killed, offers condolences to the families of the dead and wishes speedy recovery to those wounded, the MFA statement said.
Turkey will continue to be in solidarity with the friendly and brotherly people of Iraq in their fight against terror as it did in the past, the MFA statement also said.
