ANKARA
Turkey's Industrial Turnover Index increased 4.9 percent in February 2013 when compared to February 2012.
TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, announced on Thursday, Turkey's Industrial Turnover Index for February 2013.
According to TurkStat, in the sub sectors level of industry, Mining & Quarrying Index decreased 4.2 percent while Manufacturing Index increased 5.3 percent in February 2013 when compared to February 2013.
According to Main Industrial Groupings Classification, the highest increase in February 2013 over the same month of 2012 was seen in Intermediate Goods with 7.5 percent.
When the change rates of Industrial Turnover Index in February 2013 compared with February of 2012 was examined, the sharpest decrease was observed in Manufacture of Other Transport Equipment with 24.7 percent, and followed by Manufacture of Tobacco Products with 23.7 percent.
