World-renowned carrier Turkish Airlines has become the sponsor for the Macedonia National Basketball Team.
Turkish Airlines, awarded the The Best Airline in Europe title for the last four years, signed a sponsorship deal with the Macedonian Basketball Federation on Tuesday, enabling it to support the Macedonian men's national team for a further year as well as other basketball teams in different age groups.
Turkish Airlines logo will be used on the teams' training kits and jersey during the contract, which will last until the end of the year.
Europe's top-level club basketball tournament, Turkish Airlines Euroleague, has also been sponsored by the Turkish airline.
Macedonia will be competing against Netherlands, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and Georgia in the same group in FIBA EuroBasket 2015.
The red-yellows are aiming to repeat their success in EuroBasket 2011 when they managed to claim the fourth spot in Lithuania.
