Number of passengers Turkish Airlines (THY) carried in the first half of 2013 increased 26 percent when compared to the same term in 2012.
Public Disclosure Platform of Turkey released air traffic data of Turkish Airlines for January-June, 2013.
The number of passengers THY carried, which had been 17.8 million between January and June of 2012, rose 26 percent to 22.4 million in the same period in 2013.
The number of passengers in international lines rose 28 percent, while it increased 23 percent in domestic lines.
The occupancy rate also increased 3.4 percent to 78.9 percent in the mentioned period.
