A Turkish member of parliament withdrew his resignation from Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) on Wednesday.
"I withdrew my resignation after reviewing it upon the directive of our [party's] Chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu," said Turgut Dibek.
Dibek announced Monday his resignation from the CHP after disagreeing with the party's mayoral candidate for Kirklareli, the northwestern Kirklareli province he represents, in the upcoming local elections scheduled for March 30.
After Dibek's withdrawal of his resignation, each party's number of seats in the Turkish Parliament stands at:
