Turkish naval ships conduct drills in Indian Ocean

Two Turkish naval vessels conducted training exercises in the Indian Ocean while deploying to Somalia, Türkiye’s National Defense Ministry said Saturday.

“TCG Kemalreis and TCG Yzb. Gungor Durmus, which are deploying to Somalia as part of the Somali Naval Task Group activities, conducted training exercises in the Indian Ocean,” the ministry said on Turkish social media platform NSosyal.

The ministry also shared photos from the exercises.
