Here’s a rundown of all the news you need to start Monday with, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan saying that Ankara can’t stand idle in the face of dynamic changes in the global system, Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip killing at least 46 Palestinians, including 16 children, and Russia saying that 34 Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow were shot down.

• Türkiye cannot stand idle in face of dynamic changes in global system: President

Türkiye does not have the luxury to stand on the sidelines when the global system is going through its biggest changes since the Cold War, the country’s president said.

In his speech after a Cabinet meeting in the capital Ankara, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Ankara is determined to dismantle the "bloody and treacherous death plot" fueled by the terror barons in northern Iraq's Qandil region, referring to the PKK terrorist organization.

Erdogan reiterated that Türkiye is not only fighting against terrorism but also against those who provoke terrorist organizations.

• 16 children among 46 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza

At least 46 Palestinians, including 16 children, were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli warplanes bombed a home in Jabalia, the largest of Gaza’s refugee camps, killing at least 36 people, including 15 children, one of the sources said.

“Dozens of people were also injured, while several people were still missing,” the source added.

Five more people were killed in another Israeli strike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, another source said.

One Palestinian also lost his life in another Israeli attack in the Jabalia refugee camp, the same source said.

Medics said three more people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

A child was also killed and his parents were injured when an Israeli drone targeted them in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in northern Gaza City, a medical source said.

• 34 Ukrainian drones flying towards Moscow shot down: Russia

At least 34 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying towards Russia’s capital Moscow were shot down, said the Russian Defense Ministry.

A statement by the ministry said the country's air defenses downed 70 Ukrainian drones between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. local time (0400GMT and 0700GMT) over six regions, 34 of which were intercepted over the capital.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said in a statement on Telegram that 32 drones flying towards the Russian capital were downed over the towns of Domodedovo, Ramenskoye and Kolomna to the southeast of Moscow.

• Chelsea earn 1-1 draw with Arsenal in Sunday's London derby

Chelsea were held to a 1-1 home draw with Arsenal in Sunday's London derby in the English Premier League.

In the first half at Chelsea's home Stamford Bridge, Arsenal's German star Kai Havertz scored, but after a VAR review, his goal was disallowed for offside.

Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 60th minute.

• China's import expo logs new high of $80B in tentative deals

The 7th China International Import Expo ended in Shanghai, logging $80.01 billion in tentative deals for one-year purchases of goods and services, marking a new high.

The figure represents a 2% increase from that of last year, the China Global Television Network (CGTN) reported.

Running from Nov. 5-10, the expo this year attracted 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions. It also set a new record with 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders attending the event.
