Protests against violence were held in major cities of Tunisia.
Thousands of people attended the protests organized by the Al-Nahda Movement on Sunday in capital Tunis, as well as Gafsa and Kassreine provinces.
France, accused of intervening in the domestic issues of Tunisia, was also protested at the meeting. Protestors chanted against France and burned a French flag.
Provincial chairman of the ruling Al-Nahda Party in Gafsa, Mohsin Sudani told AA correspondent that they organized the meeting to condemn all sorts of violence. He said they disapprove the accusing on the assassination of Chokri Belaid. Sudani added they had nothing to learn from France and they receive all Tunisians with open arms.
