A large earthquake struck off the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Sunday, but no tsunami warning was given.
The United States Geological Survey initially measured the quake at a magnitude of 7.2 but it was later revised down to 6.9.
It struck at 18.23 (0823GMT) 420 kilometers (260 miles) north-west of the capital, Port Vila.
The Vanuatu Meteorological Services, a government department, said in a statement that there were no reports of damage.
Vanuatu has a population of around 270,000.
In October 2015, a 7.3 magnitude quake struck off Vanuatu while a 6.3 quake struck in December.
Neither caused a tsunami or serious damage.
