Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has stated that by using heavy weapons, the Syrian regime forces left 96 people dead in various cities in the country on Sunday.
London-based SNHR said that regime forces' attacks caused the killings of 6 people in Deir al-Zor, 34 people in Aleppo and in the suburbs of Damascus, 7 in Der'a, 9 in Homs, 4 in Idlib and 1 person in Rakka and Latakia in total of 96 people across the country.
Furthermore, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) stated that they took the complete control of Al-Jerah military airport in the east of Aleppo city.
Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) stressed that when Free Syrian Army (FSA) members took control of air base more than 50 regime soldiers were captured and many ammunition were obtained.
Moreover, Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCCS) added that 20 soldiers in Deir al-Zor city left the Syrian army and joined the opposition forces.
LCCS claimed that the regime used phosphorus bombs in the neighbourhoods of Damascus.
Fierce clashes between the and army forces continue in the northern cities of Syria and capital city Damascus.
