Türkiye's BIST 100 down at open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 13,152.37 points, down by 0.35% or 46.47 points.

At Tuesday's close, the BIST 100 fell by 1.04% to 13,198.84 points, with a daily transaction volume of 147 billion liras ($3.02 billion).

As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 48.8070 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.8010 to the euro, and 65.0575 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,328.5, while Brent crude futures were trading at $98.5 per barrel.
