Authorities in Ukraine’s Russian-controlled Luhansk region on Sunday claimed that three people were killed and three others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack.
The incident took place on Saturday evening in the village of Bulhakovka, Kreminna municipal district, Leonid Pasechnik, the Russia-installed head of the region, said on Russian social media platform Max.
"An enemy drone deliberately struck young people who were outside near a house. Two eighteen-year-old young men and a 28-year-old girl died on the spot from their injuries. A fifteen-year-old boy and girl, as well as a 21-year-old young man, were wounded," he added.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine’s Dnipro, the death toll from Russia’s Saturday evening strikes increased to nine after another person died in the hospital, Oleksandr Ganzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk military administration, said on Telegram.
"A 24-year-old man who was wounded during the evening attack of the Russians on the Dnieper River died in hospital. During the day, enemy strikes on the city ended 9 lives," he said.
Separately, Ukraine's General Staff said the Yaroslavsky oil refinery and air defense facilities in Russia were hit in Kyiv's overnight attack.
Independent verification of claims is challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
