The Saudi-led coalition said Wednesday that it destroyed a ballistic missile launch platform in Yemen’s Sanaa that was used in an attack on Riyadh.
Coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said on the US social media platform X that the platform was destroyed “during preparations for an imminent attack against the kingdom.”
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said three people were killed and 36 others injured in attacks targeting two airports in the kingdom.
The authority said Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh were targeted in separate attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Yemen’s Houthis claimed on Wednesday that they carried out the attacks targeting both airports.
