ANKARA
Stating that they were planing to issue a new constitution in a commission which would have three members from each political party in the parliament.
"Making a new constitution is the matter. Let's make the constitution until the end of the year with the help of all parties that should provide three members for the commission. And what if we meet hindrance? I say that we are going to make the constitution with the parties which are willing to overcome this issue," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Sunday a congress of his Justice and Development (AK) Party in Ankara, the Turkish capital, adding that AK Party would not be the side to leave the negotiation table.
"We will proceed on our way resolutely because there is a need of new constitution that reflects national will at the highest level," stated Erdogan.
Erdogan urges Russia, China, Iran to review stance on Syria conflict
Turkey's prime minister has called on Russia, China and Iran to change their stance on the Syrian conflict.
"There is a cruel regime in Damascus and this regime relentlessly massacres its own people. We are calling on Russia, China and also Iran to review their positions. History will not forgive those who took sides with oppressors," Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a congress of AK Party.
Erdogan also pledged that Turkey would continue to help and extend logistic support for the Syrian people fighting the Damascus regime.
Turkey has been providing shelter for more than 90 thousand Syrian refugees who had fled government violence in their country.
