CAIRO
Two policemen were killed and another two dozen injured on Monday by a roadside bomb in Egypt's Nile Delta, the Interior Ministry has said.
The bomb went off as a bus carrying police personnel passed through the Delta province of Beheira, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, a total of 24 policemen were injured in the attack, for which no group has yet claimed responsibility.
Egypt has been roiled by violence and turmoil since the military deposed democratically-elected President Mohamed Morsi in mid-2013.
Last week, a car bomb went off near a security building in the northern Cairo suburb of Shubra al-Kheima, injuring more than 20 people.
