AMMAN
Anadolu Agency (AA) team has visited Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan's capital Amman where Syrian people are currently staying after escaping from violence in Syria.
Speaking to AA correspondent on Thursday, Syrian people said that food products were insufficient in the camp.
"Food products given to Syrians in the camp are not enough in quantity and sometimes we are getting mouldy foodstuff," claimed Abu Ahmed El-Hurany who is staying in the camp for a long time.
Another refugee, Abu Qasim El-Heyaky, also claimed that he had not been getting meal for two days.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director General of Ummu Aly Meal Center, Qhalid El-Bariq, said that Jordan Army was responsible for handing out meals in the camp.
"We are working in coordination with United Nations World Food Programme, and we deliver between 6,000 and 10,000 meals daily. Foods are getting mouldy because of hot water conditions," said El-Bariq.
The Zaatari camp houses almost 27,000 refugees in Jordan.
