Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has stated that they believe that the UN and Arab League envoy for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, will be successful while holding his position.
Representing his country at the Regular Session of the Foreign Ministers' Council of the League of Arab States in Cairo, Lebanese minister spoke to AA about resolution of Syrian dispute and added, "We definitely believe that Lakhdar Brahimi will hold successful works during his tenure."
Mansour underlined that Lebanon as it is a neighbour country of Syria; is one of the most affected countries from the Syria crisis and he highlighted at the meeting that there needs to be solutions being found in order to resolve the Syria crisis as soon as possible.
Mansour stressed that the problems in Syria have big reflections in Lebanon and said that for the sake of Arabs and Lebanon, Syria crisis needs to be over immediately.
