ANKARA
A mosque in Le Mans, northwestern France, was attacked overnight with a bullet being fired into the building and several "training grenades" being thrown into its courtyard, French media has reported.
One of the four grenades exploded early on Thursday, but no injuries were reported, according to local newspaper Le Maine Libre.
A gunshot was also reported overnight and a bullet found to have struck the building.
Three unexploded grenades were found by police.
Police have cordoned off the area and are investigating the incident.
