Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that they were working to establish national unity in Palestine.
Speaking at the 12th Summit meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Cairo, Abbas underlined that a meeting of Palestinian groups will take place in Cairo on Friday on ending division in Palestine, presidential elections and legislative activities.
Condemning Israel's construction of new residential units in Jerusalem and the West Bank and the Israeli embargo on Gaza, Abbas called on Islamic countries to take open and serious attitude against Israel.
